Hey everyone! My name is Xan and I will be serving as a PF
in Matamoros, Mexico this summer! I am from Fairfield, Ohio, which is very
close to Cincinnati, but I am currently attending Gardner-Webb University in
North Carolina. I will be
graduating this December with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in YMCA
Professional Studies. God has been
at work for a long time getting me to where I am now. I grew up in a good Christian home with my parents and one
younger brother and I accepted Christ into my life when I was very young. My sophomore year in high school God
called me to the mission field and initially I rebelled against this calling
but God got my attention and I have been on that path ever since. The passions
that God has given me include the Hispanic culture and language, children and
youth, playing guitar and singing, organization, teaching, and telling others
about what God has done and is doing in my life. Some random facts about me are that my name means Extra
Terrestrial and I love to live up to that name J, I did gymnastics for
9 years when I was younger, and I own all ten seasons of friends and love to
quote them regularly. If you want to know anything else look me up on facebook!

  1. Hey Xan! We just read over your introduction and I have to say that we’re looking forward to having you here. Playing guitar and singing… do you lead worship too? We have so much going on down here and we’re working projects every couple of weeks right now. I will be coming up to GA for the training and will meet you then. So far it sounds like we only have one other PF coming down here, but we are trying to get a couple more. No matter what though, I know that God will provide for all our needs. You guys will meet my wife Karina when you come down here, she won’t be at the training.
We’re happy to be working with you this summer!
Ps- The best thing you can do for this summer right now is to prepare Spiritually and dig into God’s Word as much as possible. See you soon!
