My name is Jordan Horne. I am from Thomasville, NC. In less than two weeks I will graduate from Montreat College near Asheville, NC with a degree in Psychology. I have heard the call to “GO” and I am excited about this next season that God has for me.
I grew up in a Pastor’s home and became a Christian at age 10. God has worked in some pretty remarkable ways in my life. I have always had a heart to go to the nations and went to Mexico in 2004 and Brazil in 2009. It was not until my trip to Brazil that I heard the Lord say that He had a call on my life and would mobilize me to go to the nations. I came back to the states and have been working on finishing my last two years of school. I sense that now is the time to step out and obey that call. I have a heart for the orphans, widows, and broken-hearted and want to see people have a real encounter with the living God through healing, miracles, or any other way God chooses :)!
A few fun facts about me:
- My best friend in the world is my nineteen year old sister, Ashlin. She makes me laugh like no one else!
- I consider reading a good book fun!
- I LOVE LOVE LOVE good music. Seriously, it is God’s gift to me!
- I absolutely love Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food. I could eat it everyday!
- I am almost 23 years old and have never been on a camping trip–I have not avoided it on purpose I have just somehow never been!!
- I think sunsets and waterfalls are the most glorious displays I have ever seen!
