I’m really excited for this summer and being a part of an amazing community of brothers and sisters that have the like-mindedness of serving this summer in missions. I wanted to let you know that you will be receiving a lot of notifications, next steps, and dates through this blog. So check your email often!
I invite you to check out some information about your assigned location and a tentative itinerary for the summer. We say tentative because well… as you know missions can change all the time so we ask that you stay flexible and open to where and how God moves.
If you look at the left side there are different “Categories” of articles…find your assigned location and check out the information. If your location isn’t there we’re working on it!
Be advised:
That you’ll notice in the domestic locations there are “breaks” these are weeks where no groups have signed up. In some cases you’re welcome to stay right there in the location with your team and AIM will continue to take care of your food and lodging. However, in some other cases you’ll notice that we’re inviting you to serve in another location where they need some additional help due to the amount of participants. If you choose to go to the other location that week we want to say thank you in advance, but want to be sure you understand we will still not be able to give you your weekly stipend since we don’t have it budgeted. This applies to summer interns and ministry coordinators in domestic locations. If you have any questions about this don’t hesitate to contact me.
