My name is Wren Dante and I teach middle school science in Fort Mill, South Carolina. I am originally from Illinois, graduated from Baylor University in '93, got married and moved to Boston for an internship with Campus Crusade. Then, my husband and I lived for six years in San Diego, CA, doing full-time college ministry with College Life. We have 4 beautiful children and are excited to start serving the Lord as a family this summer in Appalachia!

I accepted Christ at age 15, and, I feel like I started out my walk with the Lord in "slow" gear.  When my parents divorced, I was 25 years old, and I feel like that time of my life was when I really began to RUN after Jesus.  Deciding to marry my husband Phil, was the second best decision I made on this earth (choosing Christ the 1st), because life has been an amazing journey together (for nearly 14 yrs). Our early years we stepped out in faith a lot! Then, our season of "babies" made me a bit more "cautious". Now that my babies are all bigger now, I am looking forward to modeling to them what fully TRUSTING the Lord looks like and I am longing to live it out together daily as we seek to be Jesus to those we serve.
