My
name is Michelle Buenrostro and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in
Texas. I believe I break every Texan stereotype and you can ask me how when you
meet me. I currently live in Nacogdoches, Texas and will be graduating from Stephen
F. Austin State University in May 2011. By the grace of God I will be receiving
my bachelors degree in Food & Nutrition.
My
mother and stepfather are missionaries. My first missions trip was when I was
15 years old and have been passionately serving missions till now. Mexico is in
my heart and love to see God move there.
God
has used missions to mold my heart. When Christ was not in my heart, I knew the
two things I did not want to pursue. I NEVER wanted to be a Christian and I
NEVER wanted to go to Mexico. It is funny how Jesus molds you to do the things
you never imagined to do. So now as I walk on this journey with my God, I am
proud to be a Christian and LOVE serving in Mexico. I have learned that no
matter where I am, my mission field is always surrounding me. I am excited to
serve in Chicago this summer and know that Jesus is going to change lives.
Oh, girl! You are awesome!! I am so happy that we got to know each other before you went off to Chicago!! I’m so pumped to hear about what God is doing and will do in your life this summer!
