Hey everyone,
My name is Jonathan Oliveras and I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I
am 20 years old and a junior at Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Georgia.
I am in the process of earning my BS in Music, and I am also studying Youth
Ministry and Biblical Studies.
I have been on several missions trips, including ones to Pittsburgh,
New York City, Matamoros, Mexico, and Trujillo, Peru. My first experience with
Adventures in Missions was when I was in tenth grade and went with my youth
group and an AIM team to Matamoros, Mexico. That was my first cross cultural
experience and I will never forget it!
The only logical explanation that I can wrap my mind around as
to why I am where I am in my life is because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior
and has great plans for me. Throughout my life I have pursued Him and His will
for me and He has never let me down. I have put my complete trust and faith in
Him and will continue to do so as I serve Him in Chicago this summer and
complete my final year at TFC.
