I just want to start out by saying that God is so unbelievably faithful. Although us interns have now been here for a couple weeks, last week was our first week of taking on project leading responsibilities. We got together as a group to pray and ask God to tell us who was suppose to lead. When we were done praying we all just looked around the room at one another hoping someone else would speak up and say it was them who was suppose to lead(at least that was what was going through my mind). Once we realized no one was speaking up we were instructed to take the rest of the night to pray about it and we would make a decision the following day. As the evening went on God kept revealing to me that I was suppose to lead but I allowed my stubborness to kick in and didn't want to say it out loud. I had asked God for some confirmation that I was really hearing the right thing. So the following morning I finally told Ali what God had laid on my heart and she confirmed that she had heard the same thing. Then when we met as a group I had two other team mates Tommy and Lyndsey who spoke up and said they had also known it was me. It was amazing to see God be faithful in my life and I am so glad that I was obedient to Him. It was truly an amazing yet challenging week but God was with me every step of the way and always provided!
